The Paula Kubitscheck-Vogel-Stiftung (a hospice foundation) supports projects of the hospice movement and palliative care in order to enable severely ill people to die in dignity and without pain in the last phase of their lives. In addition, corresponding projects from science and research are funded nationwide. So this was not an easy topic for an evening event, which should raise the level of awareness and promote donations.
The event took place in spring 2015. Within the framework of the event, the previous work and project funding (including for the new project "Palliative Care for People with Mental Disabilities") were presented in a project exhibition and the continuation of the intensive and challenging work was explained by sponsors from the various institutions. After the greeting from Alois Glück, former President of the Bavarian Parliament, and a lecture, the evening ended with the theatre play "As you are" by the theatre group "Die Blindgänger" with blind and visually impaired people.
