Climate neutral Incentive-Trip

Occasion:

Climate neutral Incentive Trip through CO2 balancing and CO2 compensation

Location:

Kopenhagen, Denmark

Number of Guests:

400 persons

Details:

Due to a shortly arranged incentive I joined the client's event team to realize this incentive trip. Copenhagen was soon chosen as destination. On our first trip, we were thrilled by the environmentally friendly and sustainable lifestyle and the highly ambitious plan to be the world's first carbon neutral capital by 2025. It was therefore a logical step to start the first climate-neutral incentive trip.

The participants had the choice and were able to collect points on a voluntary basis by choosing the "climate neutral" option instead of the "standard" option for their travel arrangements, hotel and excursion program, in order to avoid CO2 emissions to the best of their ability. Instead of taking a bus from the airport, the participant were able to take the metro to the Welcome Lunch location and then ride a bicycle instead of a bus to the hotel. In the supporting program, We deliberately refrained from using PET bottles. Instead, each participant received a high-quality, reusable aluminium drinking bottle as a guest gift, which could be refilled in the various lunch locations. And of course, the catering concept was also aimed at serving only local dishes from the Nordic cuisine. Finally in the end the participants were able to vote on which recognized climate protection project the company should invest to offset CO2 emissions.
