In January 2014, I was entrusted by a client with the trusting task of organizing two evening events to conclude an incentive in Menorca. As a location a quarry was selected, without infrastructure such as water, electricity or secure delivery routes. Together with the Spanish DMC and experienced service providers, we have set the course in four months and not only literally "paved the way".
The Spanish Balearic island of Menorca is a stronghold of traditional Fiestas, celebrated in June in honor of the patron saint of John the Baptist, and the so-called "Festas de Sant Joan" are next to the bulls in Pamplona and the tomato battle one of the largest festivals in Spain. That's why, together with the caterer, a concept for a Menorcan fiesta was developed in order to introduce the participants to the culture of the Menorcans. For the originality the regional relation of the food and drinks was strictly on demand almost all goods of small, local manufactures from Menorca. An exceptional furnishing concept and the corresponding entertainment concept rounded off the two evening events, which took place every 3 days.
